The mysterious self-esteem

Posted by Cecilia under: Attitude.

Your fingers can’t touch it. Your eyes can’t see it. Your nose can’t smell it. And your tongue can’t taste it.esteem

But nevertheless, it’s here: the self-esteem. Each time you talk about yourself you talk about your self-esteem. Our self-esteem may be small like unfortunately in so many of us. It may be big which is admirable in our society . We simply don’t exist without self-esteem!

I’d like to wish: hopefully for you self-esteem isn’t mysterious but real!

Esteem is no means to an end

Posted by Cecilia under: Economy.

You often hear that companies can increase their productivity if they show esteem toward their employees.

This thought is basically a good approach and employees would generally be glad about it.  But: How do you feel when the esteem you receive is bound to expectations.

Esteem is only authentic esteem if it comes sincerely, no return service is expected and it radiates genuiness.  It’s quite easy: we can’t use esteem as a means to an end.

Homo honoris - the esteem human being

Posted by Cecilia under: Science.

esteemAccording to the newest finding in Spain we have fresh the oldest human being, homo antecessor. We know about homo sapiens who developed from homo antecessor.

The end of this chain is homo honoris, the esteem human being! Homo honoris is esteeming through his whole existence. With this existential basic setting toward esteem homo honoris is able to change his life sphere accordingly.

To live with esteem means: holistic fullfilled individual life, roundly successful social life as well as respect and esteem towards all people and the whole nature. It’s only a question of time when homo honoris emerges definitively out of homo sapiens

Hurray! I have received an esteem!

Posted by Cecilia under: Attitude.

All right. May I ask for what we receive esteem?

If we do what another person wants of us. Or if we are rich. Or if we have an important profession. Or if we are intelligent. Or … The enumeration is endless. Each of us can enumerate something as experienced in life.

In Sikantis it reads as follows: Hurray! I receive esteem. Not only one. Not only for an action. And not only once in a while. The people in Sikantis receive always esteem for themselves as person and for their talents, whatever these are.

Yes, in Sikantis the people can cheer permanently.

Hoarding for esteem

Posted by Cecilia under: Economy.

Just imagine, starting 2009 everything will be for free like in the society of esteem Sikantis! esteem

What will happen? Most people experience a regular collecting obsession. They hoard to a fare-thee-well. No question! But after that? The people overflow with superfluous things. Superfluous are all those things which we have only for one purpose: to receive esteem with their possession.

In the society of esteem we receive esteem without having to own something for it.

Hoarding for esteem? Not in Sikantis!

Breathing esteem

Posted by Cecilia under: Philosophy.

In order to live we breathe. This is important for our body. In order to live we give esteem. This is important for our soul.

Personhood needs breathing esteem. Esteem inhales: we give ourselves esteem. Esteem exhales: we give esteem to those around us.

Breathing esteem? Yes, a brilliant meditation idea! Try it!

In search of the utopia in the society of esteem!

Posted by Cecilia under: Society.

esteemWhat exactly is supposed to be utopian in the society of esteem? Is it esteem?

No. What does not exist, is utopian. Esteem, however, exists. We all get esteem - maybe even every day!

However, it is not available freely, the esteem. We must do something for it. What do you do, so that you get esteem?

Is esteem making happy?

Posted by Cecilia under: Economy.

Do you give the same esteem to the garbage collector who every week fetches your trash in tons as to the director of your bank?

An esteemed garbage collector is certainly as happy as an esteemed bank director. Esteem makes people happy! Wow!

Now I ask myself how exactly I can give esteem? Who knows an answer?

Esteem, say what?

Posted by Cecilia under: Philosophy.

In the word ESTEEM we find terms like

recognition
respectesteem
appreciation
admiration
veneration
acknowledgment
honour
reputation
love

Which of these names is considered with most background feelings? To figure this out, I invite everybody to add the word “Society” to these terms. How does it sound for example: Society of Love? Society of Admiration? What kind of feelings do you get?

Society of Esteem contains all terms, is definite and not filled with negative feelings. Is it right?

Esteem in the book

Posted by Cecilia under: Art.

Recently I have edited my first novel for children and teenager “Richie and the secret of the ants”.

The novel is about a 10-year-old boy called Richie who undergoes a most exciting and unusual adventure. At the same time the novel inducts entertainingly in the basic thoughts of the Society of Esteem.

A successful example to the interaction of pleasure and information!
